Local Events: Week of May 12-18

Friday, May 16 from 5:30 PM – 11 PM

Relive the magic of a classic drive-in movie with a double feature of “Lilo & Stitch” and “Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch” on Friday, May 16, at Bryan Regional Athletic Complex.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with yard games, inflatables, and face painting. The first movie begins at 7 p.m., followed by the second at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $15 per vehicle, cash only, with parking available in the soccer lot. Blankets, chairs, and leashed pets are welcome. Food vendors will be on-site, or you can bring your own refreshments. Glass containers and alcohol are not allowed.

Texas A&M University & System Employees, go for an evening in Historic Downtown Bryan, hosted by the City of Bryan and Destination Bryan. Enjoy an evening filled with live entertainment, delicious local cuisine, and unique bars and shops. Go to Historic Downtown Bryan this Friday, May 16 to kick off your Troubadour Festival Weekend! This kickoff party is free for all to attend and will take place from 7:30PM – 11:30PM on Main Street in Downtown Bryan! Enjoy music from The Wilder Blue, The Droptines, and Jerry Almaraz. Doors open at 6:30 PM.

Saturday, May 17

Experience a one-of-a-kind barbecue and music festival on Saturday, May 17, at Texas A&M University’s Aggie Park. Troubadour Festival brings together 25 top Texas barbecue joints and pitmasters, offering delicious samples and live fire cooking demonstrations.

Enjoy performances by Shane Smith & The Saints, Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen on their Hold My Beer & Watch This Tour, 49 Winchester, Josh Meloy, Hudson Westbrook, Tyler Halverson, Jacob Stelly, and JoJo DiSalvo across two stages.
